This CPD unit is available to any employer and their employees who will benefit from the course and is at no cost to the employer.

The learning outcomes for this unit include:

• Battery and systems assembly will be a growth sector for manufacturing over the next decade for most ‘electrified’ vehicles. Providing health and safety education in the safe assembly of these systems is of absolute necessity.

• In this unit the attendee will gain a knowledge and understand about how to carry out dis-assembly and re assembly safely on high energy batteries.

• They will also learn about the correct use of tools and manufacturers (SOPs) standard operating processes.

• By the end of the unit attendees will have a confident understanding of battery assembly and their relevant complex components.
